Rose window wall art: balance gothic geometry with modern furniture

Gothic Geometry at Home: three different designs from the same pack arranged side by side on a plain background.

Rose window artwork gives modern furniture a patterned circular counterpoint. The radiating geometry can organise a wall above straight-edged cabinets or a plain sofa, while the gothic character stays within the picture. Begin with one window motif and allow the room's simpler forms to make its detail visible.

Use one circular window motif against straight furniture lines

Keep the frame uncomplicated. The artwork already has an internal border and repeated pattern, so a heavily decorated outer frame may compete with it. A plain finish that connects with a nearby lamp, table leg or existing picture can help the window feel part of the room without repeating its architecture literally.

Keep the frame simple so the internal pattern reads

Choose one muted accent from the print and use it sparingly. A cushion or small vessel is enough to connect the colour across the room. If the furniture is already patterned, compare a quieter design within the category and keep the surrounding wall clear. The aim is to give the detailed circle a readable setting.

Test a single A1 piece before planning a larger gallery. A circular motif inside a portrait-format artwork still needs the full paper and frame allowance. If a companion is needed, compare a slender spire or quiet arch and look at both from across the room, where their relative weight becomes easier to judge.

Check the A1 print before choosing a frame

The supplied A1 artwork is portrait, 594 × 841 mm. Measure the paper and the outside frame separately, then make a full-size paper template to test the wall. PNG files are 7016 × 9933 pixels, tagged at 300 DPI; the matching SVGs are editable vector artwork. Ask your printer to check the chosen file, paper and any border or bleed requirements. A small proof helps you assess colour and fine detail before ordering a large print. Printing and framing are separate from the digital download.
